ATU iHub Mayo attended a meeting with delegates from Mentor, Ohio. We continue to explore opportunities to build meaningful connections between companies in Mayo and those in Ohio. It was great to reconnect with Ken Filipiak (City Manager, Mentor, Ohio), Kevin Malecek (Director of Economic Development and International Trade, Mentor, Ohio), and Mark Owens, MBA (Team NEO and Honorary Consul of Ireland).
ATU iHub Mayo have been developing this relationship over the past few years and also work closely with Bryan Beigie from John Carroll University on GAA and basketball linkages. There are many opportunities for Mayo and Galway based companies to strengthen connections in Ohio, and the visiting team come here on regular visits to actively support this collaboration.
