Since 2005, the Innovation Hubs (iHubs) at ATU Galway and Mayo have assisted entrepreneurs to develop and bring their business ideas to the marketplace. Designed to play a strategic role in the development of the West region, the iHubs help drive the enterprise model of market-led and knowledge-based industry development.
A critical goal of the iHubs is the number of successful Start-Up companies that emerge from the Incubation pipeline. These new companies will have survived the early stages of growth and become independent standalone entities which have successfully developed new products or services for global markets.
